About

Ken Sproul

I optimize websites for Google rankings and improve Google trust via links and ensuring NAP (name, address, phone accuracy across the Internet).

My name is Ken Sproul…

Well, I’m 72 years old, so I’ve done a few things in my life.

I’ve been a college professor since 1980 (psychology, Chinese history), only teaching part-time these days, as a retiree.

I’ve been an SEO since 2000 and my claim to fame (though not wealth) is that I basically invented programmed one-way links in 2004.

I’ve acted, getting a line in a Gene Hackman / Hugh Grant film called Extreme Measures (entitling me to be an apprentice in ACTRA).

I’ve written two books, a college textbook and the self-published Dao of SEO, my now-outdated guide to SEO.

I’ve done two self-released singer/songwriter music CDs. And apart from playing my guitar, my hobbies are cooking, exercise and feeding my little neighbours.
